Transcriber's Notes:

* The use of an * indicates a omission or error made by the original recorder, or
something else of interest noted by the transcriber.
* The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to the quality
  of the original document.
* In the sworn statement, the captain's name has a horizontal line after it in two of
three cases, in one case it is more of a squiggley line.
* Also in the sworn statement, in the word "swea?" there is a line that curves up and
back over the word at the end of the word. I'm sure this word is supposed to be "swear".
finally in the sworn statement, the * after the word Philada indicates that the last
"a" was written above the midline ( in superscript).
* The Collector's name appears to be three letters, the first like a smaller version
of a capital "J", the second looks most like an "a" and the third letter extends below
  the line like a "y".
* ? #7 Pea?ton Wright- this is a small letter, possibly two letters.
* #9 Robt* Davis- the letter "t" is written in superscript.
* ? #15 George Ha??nes- the first ? could be "r" or "s", the second ? is a tall
  letter like a "t" or "k".
* #22 Charles Cranshaw- the * next to the age indicates that the age was written
on the manifest in fraction terms.
* The passengers on the manifest were not numbered. Numbers were added to aid in
identification of passengers in transcriber's notes.
