I, Benjamin Harrod do solemnly, sincerly and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Superior whereof I am Master, from Havre. Transcriber's Notes:
* Column headings were actually hand written on the original manifest;
due to spacing problems they were not included in the transcription
* Column heading-"To what nation they intend to become ?" ? looks like it
might be independent. In that column other cities/countries had been written
in then crossed off and replaced with U S America
* Column of description of Baggage, large portions of that column had x
marked across the many of the descriptions. No explination was given
* Passenger 8: looks like it may also be Ladermianin-manifest is torn across the
name and rest of information
* Passenger 22-25: note that the Courvoisier is ordinarily spelled Courvoisier
per another guild member
* Passenger 110 occupation is listed as Artiste d'Agilite. Was shortened to
Artiste to respace column.
* The column for sex of passengers was changed to m for male and f for female
for respace of column
