Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
in the transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the
condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
* Nativity, in the Sworn Statement, was originally citizenship but was
crossed out and the word Nativity printed above it.
* The column titled The country of which they are native was originally
the country of which they are citizens but citizens was crossed out and
Native written below it.
* Only transients had a listing of intention in this country.
The original recorder used a bracket when listing The Location of Compartment
or Space occupied for groups of passengers. The transcriber listed it before
each bracketed section.
Forward section steerage was written as For.d section of Steerage-the d
was raised.
The original recorder used a bracket when listing the total number of pieces
of baggage for each family. I have listed the stated number with the first
member of a family.
There were no Deaths reported for passengers 1 to 179 so this column was
eliminated.
