Her husband Arij van Seters and their son Bastiaan had emmigrated to the USA the previous year. The family settled in Paterson, NJ where they lived until Arij died in 1899 and Neeltje in 1909. Their daughter, Trytje (Trina) married Anthony Lokker in Paterson in 1895 and had seven daughters: Jacoba (Rose), Ora (Irene), Helen (Nellie), Antoinette (Net) Jaane (Jaane), Minnie and Cornelia (Babe), and a son Jacob. The family continued to live in the Paterson area. Minnie is my mother. In 1923, two sons of Arij and Neeltje, Dirk (Richard) and William died of asphixiation from a gas leak. Their daughter MIna married Charles Jellison and moved to Brooklyn, NY. Adrianus married and lived in Paterson until his death in 1939. I could not find any information on son Bastiaan after he came to the States. The family grew and is still growing. Anyone curious about the van Seter, Lokker, Willemsen, Ruhren, Seemann, Geruter, McCann, or Fecko families can contact me Rudy Willemsen Correspondence added June 17, 2006 Hello, I have been searching my g-grandfather Abraham Soloski and found him and his family on the Castle Garden website. The following list is what I copied: A. Soloski Farmer 34 M 10 Mar 1880 England Rotterdam Dina Soloski Unknown 36 F 10 Mar 1880 England Rotterdam Milly Soloski Unknown 7 F 10 Mar 1880 England Rotterdam Morris Soloski Unknown 8 M 10 Mar 1880 England Rotterdam I went to the Transcribers List and looked up the manifest that is noted above and did not find their names. I contacted Castle Garden twice and have not received any reply. Is it possible that there is an additional list of names available that I am aware of. Thank you for your effort in developing the list. Bernard Hallam New Bern, NC
