Transcriber's Notes:

* The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original
   recorder.
* The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read,
due to quality of original document.
* The use of upper and lower case letters are as written on the manifest.

1 There was some word or letters m,r,? before the word Surgeon as of to
denote a type or class of surgeon.
6 Appears to be a middle name but not capitalized and seems to be a lower
   case 'b'. Similar to 43.
12,13,14, Occupations and name as spelled on the manifest. I assumed 14 to
be 'sempstress' as it matches 17 in script.
22 Clearly a 'J' as written. Should it be Dennis?
22 Could be madder, maddey, madsley, madsler dyer
35 Thos written with 's' above the line.
37 Occupation may have been intended 'bleacher' as listed in 38.
38 Possibility first letter could be an 'H'. Listed "H" and "F" in surname
   list.
39 'd' of Rchd written above the line and underlined.
39 Could be Phennk or Pheunk, all letters on the line.
40 Last letter of name could be 'n' or 'u'.
42 Two elaborate ditto marks in lieu of name. Obviously son of, or related
to #41, yet word 'son' is not written.
43 As in #6, seems to be a middle name but not capitalized and seemed to be
   'bipod' to me.
44 Could be 'n', 'w', or 'u'
47 As written on the manifest.
50 Eliz written with 'th' above the line and underlined.
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M237, Reel 48.
