Bremen, Germany to Baltimore, Maryland
1 September 1845

I, G. S. Lammy, Master of the Ship Martha, of Bremen, do solemnly swear that the annexed list contains to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account or report of all the passengers who have been taken on board the said ship at Bremen or any other foreign port or at sea, and brought in the said ship into any District of the United States since her departure of the said port of Bremen. * The word Hanover was written as super-script after passenger #1's 
last dwelling place.  Was not clear if that was meant to apply to all 
the passengers or just the first ones. 

Surnames spelled with umlauts: Muhlhausen, Hohn or Kohn, Eichmuller, 
Muller, possibly Gotz.
 
 #11-12 baggage bracketed together.
 #21 area around occupation has damage but possibly trade-man.
 #27-28 surname Sohleder or Schleder. 
 #32-35 town name probably Untersehnlin or Unterschulin.  Occupation area 
     has damage.
 #36-39 surname Hohn or Kohn, with umlaut.
 #41-42 destination probably Indiana.
 #43 first name abbreviation looks like Jac. or Fai.
 #45 town name looks like Obersaoey or Obersahocy or Obersalwey.
