Transcriber's Notes:
(1) The column for passenger number was placed in the original between
Age and Sex. In this transcription it has been moved to the first
  column for clarity and consistency.
(2) In the occupation column, ditto marks clearly were used such that all
passengers, including all the women and children appeared to have an
occupation indicated. The only exceptions are the two infants born on
board. Any attempt to modify this column would be conjecture, so it is
  transcribed as written.
(3) All passengers were destined for "United States", therefore the
  column was omitted.
* Names abbreviated as indicated.
? Denotes illegible character due to the quality of the original.
+ The two infants born on board did not have passenger numbers. It is
interesting to note they were both given the name "Lucilla,"
  the same as the ship.
* For passengers 1 through 8 the sex was spelled out as Male or Female,
thereafter it was abbreviated M or F.
*Passenger 34: Age listed was 1 1/2.
*Passenger 39: Age listed was 1 1/2.
*Passenger 61: Age looks like 5 1/2, possibly 0 1/2, or 6 1/2.
*Passenger 98: Looks like n or u.
*Passenger 108: Age listed was 2 1/2.
*Passenger 130: Age listed was 1 1/2.
*Passenger 142: No given name listed.
*Passenger 143: No given name listed.

Virginia, and married Barbara Bastz, also from Germany, 2 October 1844,

Andrew, John, Adam, Nicholas Jr. and Elizabeth. The name Kraus was changed
to Krouse, on his naturalization papers in 1851 he was listed as Nicholas
Krous. I am looking for his Ancestry in Bavaria, I do not know what town
he came from, any information would be helpful. Carla Schaaf
