DISTRICT OF BALTIMORE – PORT OF BALTIMORE
I, R. M. Fanald, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the within list subscribed with my name, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account, or report, of all the Passengers who have been taken on board the Brig Hope at Amsterdam or any other foreign Port or at Sea, and brought in the said Brig into any District of the United States since the departure from said Port of Amsterdam. (Signed) Richd. M. Fanald. Sworn the 17th June 1834, BEFORE, (signed) Jesse Hunt, Mayor.

This was marked a City List.  

 #1-5 surname Lach or Lorch or Lerch.  Town name Landan or Landau or Laudan.
 #8   surname possibly Watermen but probably Watemen. Not certain about the r.
 #11  surname Holsch or Hoesch.
