Baxter, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Havre whereof I am master, from Havre. surname are quite clearly related to the preceding individuals.

Passengers #93 to 97 and the infant following 97:
The Brennemann family are the transcriber's ggg-grandparents who emigrated
from the Duchy of Zweibrücken, Germany (not a part of Bavaria, but at the
time under Bavarian rule). Philipp Brennemann (b. 13 Dec 1823 in Ernstweiler)
was a cabinetmaker and founded a furniture business in Pottsville, PA.
He married Christina Wambrechtshammer (b. 8 Mar 1826 in Ixheim) in 1850.
Elisabeth is his younger sister who later moved to St. Louis, MO. Three-year
old Philipp later took over his father's furniture business in 1880 and also
owned and operated a theater in Pottsville.
The couple had 9 more children in America. The first of their American-born
children was my great-great-grandmother, Mary Louise (Brenneman) Burkhart
who was born in Pottsville in 1855.
Philipp's parents and brothers also came to America. Family legend says they
came in 1846, but they may have come later. They were Johann Philipp
Brennemann (b. 3 Dec 1799), a linen weaver, his wife Dorothea Daumüller
(b. 9 Apr 1800 or 1813) and their sons Daniel (who later had an iron fence
foundry in Scranton, PA) and Karl (Charles).
Most of these individuals are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in

My husband is a relation to #66, Israel Landauer. Israel Landauer was
born in Gerabronn, Wurtemburg, Germany in 1838, the son of Hayum/Heinrich
Landauer, of Gerabronn, and Baier Jandorff from Hengstfeld, Wurtemburg,
Germany. His older brother and sister, Moses and Caroline Landauer,
also immigrated to the US in 1854 but it is not known which ship they
came in on. Israel is travelling with (#64) Regina Landauer and (#65)
Sarah Wasserman, his cousins, also from Gerabronn. Moses settled in
Canton, Fulton co., IL but travelled a lot to Louisville, KY, as there
was a large Jewish settlement their (the closest one). The fate of the
