Transcriber's Notes:
In the paragraph beginning "List or Manifest, etc." the abbreviation Br
may possibly refer to British. In the Age column, Months had no entries
and was left out. In the Occupation column, all Female entries carried
a dash and all noted occupations used ditto marks throughout even through young
children. In the column The Country to which they severally belong, the only
entries were at the beginning of each page of the list and was not uniform. In
the column The Country of which they intend to become inhabitants, the only entries
were at the beginning of each page of the list and was not uniform. It seems
apparent that all persons were from Great Britain and intended to become
inhabitants of the United States. In the column Died on the voyage there were no
entries and the column was left out.

1. This could be an i without a dot, but does not seem right. The rest of the name
is very distinct.

4. James Carlin could also be Harlin or Karlin. The initial capital letter looks
like the start of an F and then goes to a C. This is the only instance of this
character being written this way. All other H's, C's and K's were distinct.

Spelling of first names were not uniform throughout the list. Abbreviations were
sometimes used. The list was written by more than one person. Patrick and Patr,
William and Wm, Margaret and Margt, and Catherine and Cathe for example.

Dogherty was also spelt Doghety without the r and without the g as Doherty.
