Transcriber's Notes:
The original manifest was not numbered.
It appears that the manifest has been taped to the Master's statement. It has
also been taped in several other places making it impossible to read some of
the names.
The first passenger, whose name was crossed out, had ditto in the column "The
country to which they severally belong".
In the column, "The country in which they intend to become inhabitants", is the
word ditto all the way down. The missing passenger(s) before passenger #1
would have held the country information.
There were no recorded deaths, so the Died on voyage has been eliminated.
The writer of this manifest did not record the sex of any of the passengers.
If an occupation is not stated, it is because it was left blank on the manifest.
? Passengers:
Many of the names with ? in them could not be read because of the poor quality
of the manifest.
60 to 63 - Shuffle???ham - name could be Shufflebotham.
104 - T??bar - could be Taebar, Taabar, Tubar.
123 & 124 - Ke?? - name could be Kem, Kern, or Kerr.
137 to 140 - Warde? - name could be Warden or Warder.
175 - H??derson - name could be Houderson or Henderson.
* Passengers:
1 - Kelly - name was crossed out.
17 to 20 - Buck - name could be Brock.
26 to 26 - Freedom - names were crossed out.
54 & 55 - Steel & Steet - Steet has a single line going through both "t"s
& the last "t" is also crossed with it's ending curve. Steel has a single
line going from the "t" to touching the top of the "l".
82 to 84 - Byant - it looks like a raised "r" after the "y" & there is a
"x" under the B. (Byrant or Bryant)
105 - Gillurd - name may be Gillard.(sometimes the writer's "a"s were open
& sometimes they were closed)
