I T. H. Brandt do solemly, sincerely, and truly swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philadelphia, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all passengers which were on board the Galliott Elizabeth at the time of her sailing from the port of Amsterdam or which have been taken on board at any time since; that I am at present and have been during the voyage, master of the said vessel. And I do like wise swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest, are to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. Sworn before me, this 25 day of August 1834 John Ken?? United States for all passengers. The Collectors last letters in his last name was ilegible. The owners name was not written on the Manifest. Passenger # 58 occupation, Brown?? Possibly Brownsmith works with copper or brass. Correspondence 05/25/2004 passengers #41 & 42 Bauman My ancestor on the Galliott Elizabeth was Rosina Catharina Bauman and George M. Bauman. Rosina settled in Monroe County, Illinois. George settled in the St. Louis area and I'm trying to find him.
