Transcriber's Notes:
* This ship is called Dromahair on other sources but in NARA is listed as
  Dromohair and therefore this transcription is kept as the original copy.
* The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original
  recorder
* The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to
  quality of original document
* There is a note on this manifest where a total of passengers was written
  at the bottom. It appears as if the total was 131 passengers and 10 deck
  hands. However there was only 140 people listed. The deck hands may
  have actually been passengers working their way across.
* #9 age is written over, either 11 or 22, both numbers present
* #21 Daniel shortened
* #42, #70 are Margaret shortened
* #59 this name spelled Scanlan #122 & 123

* #112 this may be misspelled by Captain, it may be Cassidy or Casserley,
  both surnames in Ireland
* #124 there is an ampersand (@) after Ed most likely indicating Edward is
  the full name
* #138 is only listed without name

Correspondence 12/08/2003 passenger #139 Boland
I believe the #139 passenger on the Bark Dromohair is my Great Grandfather
Michael Andrew Boland. His naturalization papers show that he arrived
in New York in 1852 and he was 14 years old. He went to live in
Philadelphia, Pa. and spent the rest of his life there. He married and
raised 5 children. Walter E. Boland
