In other words I feel the recorder assumed his methods were obvious or he was somewhat careless. Many of the 'surnameless' groups are obviously families, but the researcher should use caution as this may not always be the case. Passenger Notes: * 24 No indication of sex or birthdate of infant. * 25 Could be Furbey or Ferbey * 32 Could be Thed abbreviation for Theodore. * 38,39 Both first names definitely as recorded. * 43 The l written above the line and attached. * 46,47 Possibly relaated to 45. * 49,50,51 No clues to the relationship of this trio. Names and ages clearly written by recorder. * 54,55,56,57 My assumption is these people are related. * 67 Could be Norris or Morris. * 71 Possibly same surname as 70. * 74 Possibly related to 73. * 76,77,78,79 Did the recorder neglect to bring the surname down from 75? * 79,80 t written above the Mag. Abbreviation for Margaret * 81 Possible same surname as 80. * 83 Could be Coffu or Coffa. * 87 Could be same as 86, 88. * 92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102, Assumed to be the Dunn family. * 104,105 Possibly related to 103? * 107 Son of #106 Ann McMannes? * 129 Mary's occupation as recorded. * 142,143 Some type of mark under Hostler from previous listing, could be a ditto mark or a line thru a ditto mark. * 159,160 t written above Mag, abbreviation for Margaret. Possibly related to 158. * 162,163,164 I assume family of 161. * 168 Possibly related to 167. * 170 Possibly related to 169. * 174 Possibly related to 173. * 176,177,178 Possibly part of Connelly 175. * 181 Probably wife of 180. * 183,184,185,186,187,188,189,190 Probably the family of 182 Brady. * 192 Could be Covn or Covu or Comm possibly an abbreviation. * 193,194,195,196,197 Probably the family of 192 Murphy. * 198,199,200,201,202,203,204,205,206 My guess is these are two Daly families with 198 James Daly the father of one family and 202 and 203 the parents of the other family. Perhaps 198 and 202 were brothers or cousins. * 208,209 Probably wife and child of 207 Connell. * 212,213 Occupation was dittoed from 211 to 212. My guess is there is some relationship to 210 and 211. * 219 No surname or mark written but under Poland in 218 there is a flourish which I assume connects 219 and 218. * 224 I am assuming Anderson is the surname but letters after it are illegible.
