There are no handwritten headings in the Remarks column. However, on other manifests on this film Money and Read and Write have been written in. Missing or illegible letters are replaced with ?. 2 Yes is written in the remarks column. This may mean that he can read and write.(see above) 6-16 All are in transit to Hong Kong. 14 First letter of surname could be "H" or "D". Third letter could be "u." 17 "Returned from coast Ship San Blas" is written in Remarks.
