Ship Chs. Carrol

DISTRICT OF NEW YORK – PORT OF NEW YORK
I, William Lee, master of Ship Chs. Carrol do solemnly, sincerely, and truly affirm that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collections District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of said Chs. Carrol at Havre from which Port said Ship has now arrived; and that on the said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country to which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who have died. Transcriber's Notes:     
 # 7 These letters are writen over and I just can't makeout what is there.
 #14 There is a hole in the manifest at this point. Both the name and
     occupation are not there.
 #19 There is somekind of a mark up in the air after the Fred.  My guess 
     is that it is ment to denote the name Fredrick.
