Yokohama, Japan to Tacoma Washington
July 9, 1896

PORT OF TACOMA
I, Edward Porter, Master of the above named Br. Str. Braemar, from the Port of Yokohama solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the above List contains the names and descriptions of all the Passengers who were on board the said S.S. Braemar at the time of or since our last departure from the said Port of Yokohama, or that have been taken on board the said vessel at any foreign port or place, and that none have died on the voyage. (signed) Edward Porter Collector's Office, Port of Tacoma, July 9, 1896. Subscribed and sworn to before (signed) H. D??nn.
List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Br. SS "Braemar" whereof E. Porter is Master, from Yokohama; burden,2316 tons.
Columns represent: Name, age-years, age-months, sex, occupation, the country to which they severally belong, country of which they intend to become inhabitants, who died on the voyage.
