Correspondence 10/28/01 passenger #11 PEFFEL
Nicolas Peffel was from Signau, Canton of Bern, Switzerland, 
accompanying him were his wife (married 1723) Barbara Barn, and 
their eldest son. Nicolas was brn Nicolas Pfieffli, and adopted 
the PEFFLEY spelling in Pennsylvania. He and his family settled 
in Lancaster (Dauphin) County.
