Karl A.W. Janessen, Master Transcriber's Notes: A Each page used by the original recorder was on a differant form which called for differant information. This transcriber changed it to be uniform within aliens or citizens. B The original recorder did not number his list, except for the first of four pages. These were added by this transcriber for ease of referance. C The original recorder twice entered the exact name two times. D Those items in parenthes ( ) were on the original. E Those in brackets [ ] were added by this transcriber to clarify the original recorders intent. F Interestingly all aliens took their oath in New York prior to the previous trip. This means that although living in the U.S.A. they were not citizens. G The original recorder did NOT specify which 5 Seamen died on the voyage. H Names were transcribed as seen.
