Transcriber's Notes: * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder or is used to call your attention to additional information in the transciber's notes with the exception of passenger 24 when the "*" was on the original record indicating a note by the captain. ? The ? mark indicates letters or words that cannot be read due to the quality of the original document. ^ signifies a letter was superscripted: i.e. W^m=William * The first eight names are grouped and labeled "One Family" after each common name. There are also "ditto" marks under the occupation of the first named in the group. It is the transcriber's opinion that these had no meanings since a one year old could not be considered a "painter". * The original document recorded the given name first and the surname second. * Passenger numbers assigned by transcriber for ease of reference. * The Column "Country to which they severally belong" was listed as Germany for everyone and therefore eliminated. * The Column "Country of which they intend to become inhabitants" was listed as the United States for everyone and therefore eliminated. * The Column "Remarks relative to any that may have died or otherwise left the vessel during the voyage" was completed with a listing of baggage for passengers. The only death noted was listed at the end of the passenger list. 47-50 Surnames difficult to read due to "blotting". 58 Given name difficult to read. 60 Surname could be Oltz, Olte, Olta 69 Surname difficult to read
