DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN - PORT OF BOSTON
I, D.H. Stembridge Master of the NORSEMAN do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Port of Boston is a full and perfect list of all passengers taken on board the said vessel at Lpool Eng. from which port the said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of the compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers as required by the "Passenger Act of 1882"; also a true statement, so far as can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this country, So help me God.

The date "3rd Jany. 1890"  for the Captain's sworn statement is a written on the Manifest. 
The year is, in fact 1891.

The column for Citizenship is empty, has no information, therefore this column is omitted.
The column for Location of Comapartment has the same entry for all; "Aft", therefore this
column is omitted.
The column for Intention of Protracted Sojourn in the US has the same entry "P Settler" for 
all passengers, therefore this column is omitted.
No passengers died on this voyage, therefore this column is omitted.
