Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information in the
transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition
of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.
* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.
* Passenger numbers assigned by transcriber for search purpose.
* The passenger list format was difficult to reproduce so it has been modified in here.
Passengers were listed as either adults, children under 14 years, and children under
12 years.
* The name of the ship spelled Farewell, with the first "e" lined out, making it Farwell.
Ancestry.com lists the ship's name as Farewell.
* The captain's signature is difficult to read; maybe Farnell, Farnett or even Farwell
56, 57 These passengers were listed below the recapitulation for some unknown reason.
They may have boarded at some other port or after the manifest had been completed
or were found to be on board as stowaways.
