Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder. ^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted. * The manifest clearly states that the ship departed from the "Port of Newport". This transcriber assumed that since all of the passengers were from England that Newport was in Wales. Ancestry.com states that the ship departed from Leghorn, Italy. * Passenger numbers assigned by transcriber to aid search. * No occupations were shown except for Passenger No. 1 and he was a shoemaker, so this column is not shown. * All passengers intended to reside in the U.S. therefore this column is not shown. * All passengers were from England so this column is not shown.
