Transcriber's Notes:
An asterisk (*) is used to refer to an item in the transcriber's notes, which explains the
entry.
A question mark (?) is used for letter/letters that cannot be read because of the quality
of the document. Where possible a suggestion is given in the Transcriber's Notes of what
the letter/letters may be.
A circumflex (^) is used to indicate missing letters in a name or word. The original lister
showed this by writing the final letter smaller and raising it above the line.
The original lister numbered the passengers. It appears to be a complete manifest.
The lister also used the "leading 's'", which appears at first glance to be an "f", but is
actually the the first of a double "s". Where noted, this has been corrected.
3 Surname could have an ending on the name either Welhamy or Welhams. There is a flourish
at the end.
9 Mildman, Wildman.
42 Meyde, Weyde.
87 There is an "x" after this name. At times, listers used this to denote someone who was
ill on the voyage.
89 Murnan, Marnan.
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M237, Reel 218, List 263.
