Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the transcriber,
or is used to call your attention to additional information in the transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the
manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.
* Passenger numbers assigned by transcriber for ease of reference.
1 A few letters in middle of the name of the country from which they came was blacked out.
But the complete spelling is seen for passenger 112 as Monnothshire, a county in South
Wales. Country to which they intended to be residents is not known and is entered as
seen by this transcriber.
16, 17 Given names not seen, areas were blacked out.
63 Died at sea.
76 Given name was blacked out
112-115 bracketed with "in cabin". Strange that 115, john Smith, is included in the bracket
but the following three passengers are not, and they were probably his wife and children.
151-154 Country they intended to reside could be "Land opp Blifford".
164 Died at sea. An "x" in the age column could mean baby died during birth at sea.
