Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark indicates indecipherable/illegible material.
An asterisk indicates a footnote with explanatory information.
A ^ (caret) indicates superscript.
The original recorder uses ditto marks rather indiscriminately so it is diffult to determine
occupations in some cases.
15 Durst has an umlauted u so may also be Duerst.
20 Muller has an umlauted u so may also be Mueller.
22 Stocker has an umlauted o so may also be Stoecker.
23 Grabner has an umlauted a so may also be Graebner.
32 Surname may be Heshe or Hesse.
33 Muller has an umlauted u so may also be Mueller.
40 Should surname be Dirks?
48 Schrodter has an umlauted o so may also be Schroedter.
53 Name is either Ditteners or Dittmers.
55 Surname looks like Eifers but may be Eifert.
68 Surname may be Schnick.
70 Schuler has an umlauted u so may also be Schueler.
74-75 Apparently passenger 317, baby Anna Fritsch was their child.
92 Muller has an umlauted u so may also be Mueller.
95 Jurgen has an umlauted u (Jürgen).
99 Muller has an umlauted u so may also be Mueller.
120 Hubschmann has an umlauted u so may also be Huebschmann.
156-159 Stutzel has an umlauted u so may also be Stuetzel.
160 Doring has an umlauted o so may also be Doering.

216-220 Surname should probably be Benecke as in previous entries.
240 Schuler has an umlauted u so may also be Schueler.
243-245 Bosser has an umlauted o so may also be Boesser.
247 Bohler has an umlauted o so may also be Boehler.
250 Schaffer has an umlauted a so may also be Schaeffer.
262 Name seems to be Archinal.
293 Name is almost obliterated on the original. Looks like the given name may be
Margaretha and the surname may end with a z. Place of origin may be Hessia.
294-303 The original recorder used ditto marks to indicate the place of origin. In this
case, and for all the entries numbered 294-303 the ditto marks refer to the
obliterated entry for passenger number 293. I believe the origination may be Hessia
based on the previous entries and the change to Hanover at number 293.
298 Note in far right hand column: died May ? (may be neuten i.e. the ninth of May)
303 Koppe has an umlauted o so may also be Koeppe.
304 Kuchmeister has an umlauted u so may also be Kuechmeister.
315 Schore has an umlauted o so may also be Schoere.
