Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder. ^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted. * Passenger numbers assigned by transcriber for ease of reference. * Occupation...all were said to be farmers and labourers except for passenger no. 1. * All came from Great Britain or Ireland, and all intended to reside in the United States so these columns have been omitted. 37 the word "infant" is written after passenger's name; might mean she had an infant with her. 72 age is blacked out by dark band....maybe from tape joining two parts of the manifest.
