Transcriber's Notes:

An (*) asterisk indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the original recorder or to call attention to additional information in the Transcriber's Notes below.

The use of a (?) indicates a letter or number that cannot be transcribed definitely.

* The signature of the witness was illegible.
* The column 'Died on voyage' has been omitted entirely as there were no deaths recorded.
* The column 'Part of vessel occupied by each' has been omitted entirely for the following
reason: the original recorder has written one word on top of another word making it
difficult to transcribe accurately. This was on the same line as passenger #1 and then
dittoed for the remaining 26 passengers. The word could possibly be 'cabin'.

2 1st letter of given name is G, remaining 4 or 5 letters are unclear.
3 2nd letter of surname is unclear.
4 5th letter of surname is unclear.
9 Passenger is notated by original recorder as being the son of passenger #8.
11 Passenger is notated by original recorder as being the wife of passenger #10.
12-14 Passengers are notated by original recorder as being the daughters of passenger #10.
15-17 Passengers are notated by original recorder as being the sons of passenger #10.
18 4th and 5th letters of surname are unclear. Age could be 30y or 38y, 2nd number is
      unclear.
19 1st and last letters of surname unclear. Age could be 37y or 87y, 1st number is
      unclear.
20 1st number in age is illegible. Age could be 21y.

      passenger #21.
24 Passenger is notated by original recorder as being the son of passenger #23.
25 1st number in age is unclear, could be 32y or 82y.
