Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder. ^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted. * Passenger numbers assigned by this transcriber for search engine. * Column heading Sex shows P. No where is this defined, but this transcriber thinks it maybe to indicate passengers that intended to reside in Philadelphia. * Column heading Occupation shows N.Y. for some passengers. This not defined but this transcriber thinks that it may indicate those passengers that intend to reside in New York. 69-74 Surname may be many things as letters are very poorly formed. Jane Gould and Edward Gould I believe to be Elizabeth's younger siblings. Thomas, Jane, and John Bulgin I believe carry the Durnford name as well. The family met my grandfather William in Philadelphia where they settled for a short time. From there they moved to Warren, NJ where my Grandfather worked at St Luke's Episcopal church. I will gladly share any additional information you may be interested in, but am having difficulties finding any images of the ship. I am looking for images, drawings, or plans for this ship.
