1 - 7, 13: These passengers are part of a big group of people who emigrated
from the Munsterland (u Umlaut) area in Germany to the United States.
They came from Burgsteinfurt. More information can be found at
Auswanderungen im 19. Jahrhundert, Emigration in the 19th Century.
Click on the link in the top left corner, Auswanderungen im 19. Jahrhundert.
This will take you to the index for Borghorst and Burgsteinfurt. Permission to
publish this information has been granted by Wilhelm Alff, one of the authors of
this website. Currently the website is in German only, the translation is work in
progress. For more information, please contact Ines.
10 & 11: the last name should be Dwersteg.
These 2 passengers were part of the group from the Munsterland area as well,
except they came from Borghorst, not Burgsteinfurt. More information can be found at
Auswanderungen im 19. Jahrhundert, Emigration in the 19th Century as well.
