Transcriber's Notes:

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.

A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
  definitely.

The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively 1 through 75, even though
they are not numbered in the original manifest.

The recorder of the manifest neglected to record the Occupations of passengers
  numbers 24 through 75.

The manifest is in good condition and easily readable. However, the recorder's
handwriting is difficult to decipher because many letters are not carefully or
distinctly formed resulting in an uncertain transcription of names. Though done
with care, the resultant transcription is subject to errors and should be viewed
  with some skepticism.

70 Surname is partially obscured by damage to the manifest and cannot be deciphered.
