SS Deutschland
I, W. Ladervig, Master of the SS Deutschland, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said SS Deutschland at Bremen from which port said SS Deutschland has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

* Only one passenger died during the voyage, this is noted in the Transcriber's notes.
* Pieces of baggage was not recorded, therefore this coloumn was eliminated.
189: Hubsch is spelled with u Umlaut.
190 - 192: Frobel is spelled with o Umlaut.
193 & 194: it would appear that these 2 passengers are part of the Frobel family although
their name is spelled with oe instead of o Umlaut.
199 - 205: the last name could be Faulick.
221 - 223: Hauschen is spelled with a Umlaut.
30 - 232: Dorfner is spelled with o Umlaut.
242: Koster is spelled with o Umlaut.
252 & 253: the last name could be Leitz.
293: Bro?fuhrer is spelled with u Umlaut.
297: There's a town in WI called Mineral Point and it could be the place these
passengers were from. It was settled in 1827 and was a lead mining center.
300: Wobse or Wohse are spelled with o Umlaut. Surname maybe Wohse.
304: Bose is spelled with o Umlaut.
316: Von is not a German first name, it's used in front of last names for minor nobility,
the last name could be von Haselbauer or von Haselhauer.
316 - 318: the last name could be Haselhauer.
355 - 357: the last name could be Schlunine.
358: Bullermann is spelled with u Umlaut.
