REPORT OR MANIFEST of all the Passengers taken on board the Brig Commerce whereof George W. Morgan is Master from Fogo, Cape Verde*, burthen 177 50/95 tons, and owned by John Swain Townsend & George W. Morgan of New Jersey & Philadelphia and bound for Philadelphia.

*  Fogo (Portuguese for "fire") is an island in the Sotavento group of the Republic of Cape Verde. 
   It is the most prominent of the group, rising to nearly 3,000 m (10,000 ft) above 
   sea level at Mount Fogo.  The islands are located off the west coast of Africa.

*  Departure port shown on the manifest is St Iago.

*  Not shown are columns for what Country belonging and for country they intend to become 
   inhabitants as all are shown to be Citizens of the the U. States.
