Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
with certainty.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.
The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not
numbered in the original manifest.
The recorder of the manifest often abbreviates a passenger's Occupation, such as
"Merch" or "Mercht" for Merchant, "Mech" for Mechanic, "Lab" or "Labr" for Laborer,
"Farm" for Farmer, "Carpt" for Carpenter, "Macht" for Machinist, "Ch" for Child,
"Wf" for Wife and "Sevt" for Servant.
3-4 The recorded Ages of these two children are difficult to decipher. For John,
his Age appears to be recorded as "11 years and 14 months" and Mary Jane, her
Age appears to be recorded as "7 years and 12 months", but perhaps the recorder
intended the Ages to be "14" and "12", respectively.
8 Passenger's Occupation is recorded as "S. Maker", likely intending Shoemaker.
26 Passenger's Occupation is recorded as "S. Maker", likely intending Shoemaker.
26-27 Surname appears to be either "Suck" or "Luck".
32 Surname is recorded as "Kenedy", but might possibly be "Kennedy".
41-42 Surname is recorded as "Halagher", but might possibly be "Gallagher".
52 Surname is possibly "Stockbride", "Slockbride", "Stockbridge" or "Slockbridge".
53 Surname is recorded as "Costle", but might possibly be "Castle".
58-60 Surname is recorded as "Rul", but might possibly be "Rule".
73 Surname is recorded as "Lelispie", but might possibly be "Gillespie".
74 Surname is recorded as "Lalloher", but might possibly be "Gallagher".
94 Surname is recorded as "Stofford", but might possibly be "Stafford".
96 Surname is recorded as "Reily", but might possibly be "Reilly".
97 Surname is recorded as "Curey", but might possibly be "Curry".
105 Surname is recorded as "Muldon", but might possibly be "Muldoon".
110 Given name is not recorded.
118 Surname is recorded as "Reily", but might possibly be "Reilly".
119 Surname is recorded as "Colon", but might possibly be "Collins".
123-124 Surname is recorded as "Larey", but might possibly be "Leary".
126-127 Surname appears to be written as "Lumhan", but might possibly be "Linehan".
132 Surname is recorded as "Wheelan", but might possibly be "Whelan".
133 Surname is recorded as "Hassitte", but might possibly be "Hassett".
134-135 Surname is recorded as "Horroghn", but might possibly be "Horrigan".
144-145 Surname is recorded as "Brennen", but might possibly be "Brennan".
155 Surname is either "Carrigan" or "Corrigan".
156 Surname is recorded as "Meher", but might possibly be "Maher".
157 Surname is recorded as "Murphey", but might possibly be "Murphy".
165-166 Surname is recorded as "Colman", but might possibly be "Coleman".
169 Surname appears to be written as "MelHerne", but might possibly be "Herne".
