Transcriber's Notes:
An asterisk (*) is used to refer to an item in the transcriber's notes, which explains the
entry.
A question mark (?) is used for letter/letters that cannot be read because of the quality of
the document. Where possible a suggestion is given in the Transcriber's Notes of what the
letter/letters may be.
A circumflex (^) is used to indicate missing letters in a name or word. The original lister
showed this by writing the final letter smaller and raising it above the line.
The column, "Died on the voyage" was eliminated from this transcription as there were no
deaths on this passage. 3-40 have not been dittoed as to country from which they came, or the
country in which they intend to become inhabitants. It is presumed that they all are going to
the United States, but some may be from Ireland and some from England. It is the same
circumstance for 60-81. It seems some may have come from Sweden and Germany, as well as
England and Ireland.
The original lister did not number the passengers, but it appears to be a complete manifest.
3 A note at the end of the entry says: "Husband in A??". It appears to be "Amr" -
America?
9 Surname: Dolen, Doben, Dohen.
17 Could this name be reversed? Her name could be Mary Mcneilly, Mary Meneelly.
39 Surname: Pinch, Linch.
45-49 Surname possibilities: Morgan, Mirgan, Mirgon.
66-69 Possibly Magenen, Magensen.
70 Possibly Miner.
73-76 The surname could possibly be Jenings - Jennings?
