  1 - 3:  These passengers are part of a big group of people who emigrated from the 
          Munsterland (u Umlaut) area in Germany to the United States. They came from
          Burgsteinfurt.  More information can be found at Auswanderungen im 19. Jahrhundert, 
          Emigration in the 19th Century. Click on the link in the top left corner,

          Burgsteinfurt.  Permission to  publish this information has been granted by Wilhelm

 14:      Rubsam is spelled with u Umlaut.
 18:      the last name could be  Wienke.
 20:      the last name could possibly be spelled with o Umlaut. It is not clear 
          if it's a smudge or the dots.
 31 & 32: the last name could be  Brom. 
 35:      the last name could be Bollberg.
 69:      the last name could be Mailing.
