? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the 
  manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.

The writer of this list has anglicized some of the names, i.e. Miller (should be Müller
perhaps) or omits the seoond n on names like Tholman (should be Tholmann).  It may be that 
the name "Marey" should be Marea or Margaretha, or somthing like that. Given names are usually 
abbreviated (i.e. Barb for Barbara) without a period to indicate an abbreviatio.

Ages listed in fractions have been changed to years and months.  

  1-3    Surname may be Waiker, the dot, well above the c may make the letter an i.
  6      Given name should probably be Gottfried.
  7      Given name should probably be Catharine.
  9      Given name should probably be Dorothea.
 10      Given name should probably be Christian.
