Visit Encyclopedia Titanica. This is a wonderful site listing all the passengers, staff, crew and musicians. It shows you deck plans and the chronology describes the Titanic arriving in Southampton in all her majesty on Good Friday, April 5th, to take on her staff and provisions. On Saturday, April 6th it describes the cargo she took on, including 5,800 tons of coal which took 24 hours to load, and on Easter Sunday, April 7th, she sits quietly. On Monday, April 8th, you can read about the thousands of pounds of food and how it was transported. Read about the events which took place that fateful night, mentioning the names of the many ships which warned her of the ice ahead. Compiled and edited by Philip Hind, this is truly a "must see!"
