Donator's Notes:
Suriel Ax married Vera Kingelin in 1899. They traveled on this ship
to Brisbane, Australia. Their first child was born in Sydney on
March 27, 1900. By 1902, they had left Australia, been part of a
commune in Canada - and settled in Astoria or Seaside, Oregon, USA.
By 1904 they had moved to Donnely, Idaho, USA where they lived the
rest of their lives.

Suriel's family lived around Tampere and Ruovesi in Finland; he
lived in Helsinki and was a fireman. His brothers and their children
all changed their surnames in the Fenoman movement right after 1900.
Today their names include Tahka, Tahkio, Henrikson, Ailio, and Teva.
Vera's familiy lived near Ruovesi; she also moved Helsinki.

I would appreciate information on what ships traveled from Sydney to
Astoria, Oregon or Victoria B.C. in 1900-1902. I am looking for
information on the Lofbacka family. They appear to be traveling
companions of the Ax family.
