Servant San Francisco 9 Keyama Tei?za 40 m Japan Japanese May 1907 Japan Merchant San Francisco Transcriber's Notes: In the affidavit of the master, hand written was Aui.P.O then Korea looks like it was stamped on the same line. I do not know what "Aui.P.O" means. The original recorder only wrote San Francisco as the final destination for the first passenger, then ditto the rest. They also wrote the occupation in the same column, above the ditto's. It looks like a different handwriting. The use of * indicates an error or omission by the original recorder. The use of ? indicates a letter or word that could not be read do to the quality of the original document. Passenger # 1 given name looked like Toiehi or it could be Toichi. Passenger # 7 given name looked like Hatsu or it could be Hatou. Passenger # 7 age was written over, but I am sure it is 20 something. Passenger # 9 given name looked like Teirza or it could be Teuza, without the i. Passenger # 6 did not have a given name only MRS. Passenger # 1 occupation should be restauranteur. Passengers # 2 & 3 occupation looks like Blackamill, but it could be Blacksmith. Pasenger # 4 occupation was very unclear. It looked like he was Capt. of something could be a ship or something Army. There was as second line that looks like "all lift ?rwe". The original recorder was very inconsistant with the Time of Entering Insular Possession. These were listed in column 7. Passenger # 1 did not indicate the year and part of it was smudged. Passengers # 2,3,5 & 6 only has years recorded. Passenger # 4 year was smudged and crossed out, then April 16 was written above it. Passengers # 7 & 9 was written with Month and year only. Passengers # 8 was written Dec 17slash07 which I assume they meant December 17,1907
