I, A. C. Franzen, Master of the SS Suevia do solemnly, sincerely and truly affirm that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the Suevia at Hamburg (and) Havre, from which port said Suevia has now arrived, and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. (Manifest has lines drawn below passenger names in a number of places. The captain may have attempted to do that here.) First letter of surname may be an S, third letter possibly an e. * Passenger 47 surname could also be Kullel * Passenger 55 given name could possibly be Victoria, but letter before ia looks like it could be a t. * Passengers 57, 58, and 59 missing letter could be c. First letter appears to be B but could possibly be R. * Passengers 68 and 69 surname could also be Daubers. * Passenger 88 first letter of surname could be a G, but does not go below the line as it does on other names. * Passenger 98 sex appears to be incorrect on manifest. * Passengers 93 through 100 appear to be the same family. Surname appears to be written as Tebonel on page 1 of manifest and Tabonol on page 2. Could also be Tabonel. * Cabin passenger 10, sex and occupation appear to have been written as female and lady originally, then crossed out. It looks like male may have been written in on top of the word female, but occupation is not legible. * Cabin passenger 19 surname could also be Herz. * Cabin passenger 24 surname could also be Block.
