Schooner Reindeer


St. John, New Brunswick to Boston, Massachusetts
27 December 1826

DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN - PORT OF BOSTON
I, Wm. Vaughan, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that the within REPORT and LIST, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of BOSTON and CHARLESTOWN, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex, and occupation of all the passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Schooner Reindeer, whereof I am at present Master, at the time of her sailing from the port of St. John's or which have at any time since been taken on board said vessel. And I do likewise swear, that all matters whatsoever, in said Report and List expressed, are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD. REPORT AND LIST of the passengers taken on board the Sch. Reindeer of St. John's whereof Vaughan is master, burthen 72 tons and --/95ths of a ton, bound from the port of Saint John's for Boston.

#1 Thomas McGa?: letters probably are w or rr.
#5 Hat? Ha?gan: first name looked like there was a raised t on the end. 
   Surname letter in question is i or r. 
#6 Joseph St??s: could be 3 letters also.  Letters do on extend above or 
   below the line.
#7 ?o?s: begins with J or L; third letter possibly n or r.
#9 No information provided for the 3 children with Biddy O'Conne.
