Havre, France to New Orleans, Louisiana
16 May 1836

I, Charles E. Blunt do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear, that the above Report and List, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of New Orleans contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex and occupation of all the Passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Brig New Hampshire whereof I am at present Master, at the time of her sailing from the Port of Havre or which have at any time since been taken on board said vessel. And I do likewise swear, that all matters whatsoever in said Report and List expressed, are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true.
SO HELP ME GOD. (signed) Charles E. Blunt. Sworn to before me, this (blank) day of (blank) 18 (blank),Collector, (blank).
REPORT and List of the PASSENGERS taken on board the Brig New Hampshire of Dover N.H. whereof Charles E. Blunt is Master, burthen two hundred forty eight tons and 2/95ths of a ton, bound from the Port of Havre for New Orleans.
Columns represent: Names of passengers, Age, Sex, Occupation, Country to which they belong, Country to which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the voyage.

Transcriber's Notes:

* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
  the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
  in the transcriber's notes.

? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the
  condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.

There were no deaths on the voyage, therefore the Death column has been
eliminated.

Passenger numbers were added to aid in referencing.

1  Peirre Rigney - First name transcribed as written; probably the correct
   spelling is Pierre.
4  Jean Battiste - Occupation for this passenger is written as farmer even
   though the age is only 7.
