I C B Brandt do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List of Manifest of Passengers, subcribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New-York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Brig Hector where I am Master, from Hamburg. Across the columns of sex, occupation, The country to which they severally belong and on the same line as the third passenger is written "In the houses on Deck" and on same line as the fifth passenger says "In the Steerage" with each one of these { under them but facing downwards.
? indicates a word or letters that could not be read.
# Please note the occupations column does not specify an individual occupation for each passenger as it just notes all the way along this column Mecanics (correct spelling on list), Labours & Farmers.
