Correspondence 05/16/2003 passenger TOOMY/TOOMEY
I think it might be possible that I am related to Hannah Toomey
19 year old female that came over on Bark Globe from Cork Ireland.
What I have been able to find is that my Great Grandmother Hanora Toomey
came over from Ireland. She was born Oct 1829.
Married Philip F. Shaw on June 28, 1863.
They had 4 possibly 5 boys. I am not sure of any of the birth dates
except that of my Grandfather. Philip F. Shaw Oct 21, 1867.
The other boys were Maurice, Dave, Mike and possibly Thomas. They lived
at 44 Polk St., Boston, Ma. Hanora died June 27, 1904.
If anyone has any more information I would greatly appreciate hearing from them.
