Dublin, Ireland to New Orleans, Louisiana
20 December 1826

DISTRICT OF MISSISSIPPI - PORT OF NEW ORLEANS
I, James Pithey, master or commander of the barque Gilbert Henderson, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear, that the within list signed by me and now delivered to the Collector of this District, contains the names of all the Passengers, taken on board the said barque at the port of Dublin or at any time since, and that all matters therein set forth, are according to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true; I do further swear that none of the said passengers have died on the voyage.

Correspondence: 5/21/99 A comment on the name "Mickael" on this ship.  
This name was used for Mickael's Church and graveyard in the parish of 
Ballycallan, Kilkeeny, Ireland.  Today it is known as Michaelschurch and 
gives its name to the local townland.  The church is long gone but the 
graveyard remains.  From Jim McDonald
