I certify that the within manifest was this day produced to me as the original manifest of the cargo on board the ship Edward Downes* whereof James Purdy is Master, from Belfast. In witness whereof I have hereunto signed my name this eighth day of Decbr. 1827. Wm. B. G. Taylor (This ship was listed as arriving in New Orleans 17 December 1827, and the manifest was also signed 17 December 1827, though above form was signed 8 December 1827.)
