DISTRICT OF NEW YORK – PORT OF NEW YORK
I William C. Bristow do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New-York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Brig DeWitt Clinton whereof I am Master, from Liverpool. So help me God. Wm. C. Bristow

List or manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Brig DeWitt Clinton whereof William C. Bristow is Master, from Liverpool. Burthen Two hundred & Ninety two 89/95ths Tons.
(my note: the names are then listed in the first column, then the age with columns for Years and Months. Next is Sex. Next is Occupation. Then there is a column labled "The Country to which they severally belong." This is followed by a column that says, "The Country in which they intend to become inhabitants..all passengers say "America." The last column says, "Died on the Voyage," but it is blank. I will only include an occupation if it is listed)
