Ship Colossus


I, Jno. Wyle, do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Phila contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers which were on board the Ship Colossus at the time of her sailing from the port of Liverpool or which have been taken on board at any time since; that I am at present and have been during the voyage, master of the said vessel. And I do likewise Swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest are, to the best of knowledge and belief, just and true. Report or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Ship Colossus whereof Wyle is Master, from Liverpool burthen 399 21/98 Tons and owned by Thos. E. & Jno. S. Walker of Philadelphia and bound Philadelphia.
Columns represent: Names, Age, Sex, *Occupation, *To what country belonging, *Country of which it is their intention to become inhabitants, *Number and Names of Passengers who have died on the voyage.

*The 4th column, titled "Occupation", the 6th column, titled "Country 
 of which it is their intention to become Inhabitants", and the 7th 
 column, titled, "Number and Name of Passengers who have died in the 
 Voyage" contain no entries and have not been transcribed here.
*The 5th column titled "To what country belonging", contains the 
 entry "Ireland England Wales" written vertically across the column.
*Passenger numbers have been added to aid with referencing.
