Ship Benjamin Morgan


Liverpool, England to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
10 April 1834

I, C M Bartleson, do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philadelphia, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers which were on board the Ship Benj Morgan at the time of her sailing from the Port of Liverpool or which have been taken on board an any time since; that I am at present and have been during the voyage master of said vessel. And I do likewise swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report of Manifest, are to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD Sworn before me, this 10th day of April 1834(no signatures)
Report or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Ship Benjamin Morgan whereof Chas M Bartleson is Master, from Liverpool burthen 395 Tons and owned by Thos E Walker & Co of Philadelphia and bound for Philadelphia.
Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, To what Country belonging, *Country of which it is their intention to become inhabitants, *Number and Names of Passengers who have died on the Voyage.

Transcriber's Notes:

* The sixth column, "Country of which it is their intention to become  
  inhabitants", has "U States" in every entry and is not included in  
  the transcription above.

* The seventh column, "Number and Names of Passengers who have died  
  on the Voyage", has no entries and is not transcribed here.

* Passenger numbers added for ease in referencing.
